h

The most popular of all Bach trumpets for good all-around playing. A great multi-purpose horn for the intermediate to professional player.

The 37 bell is a medium taper bell, the most popular of the bell options with a compact sound.  The 43 bell has the slowest taper for a brighter sound.  The 72 bell has the fastest taper for a darker and warmer sound.

The 25 lead-pipe is a medium large lead-pipe, the standard lead-pipe with some resistance.  Choose the 43 lead-pipe for a more open and less resistant feel.

Pressure-formed tubing Honed pistons The precise fit between valve casings and pistons after honing means no air leakage Perfectly rounded tubing results in less turbulence and a smoother air flow, thus allowing for an excellent scale and reduced resistance. Laser-fused pluzuma welded bell A high-energy laser fuses the brass together for a virtually seamless bell which allows continuous even vibrations. Nickel silver at stress points Nickel silver is a very strong material, and when used at stress points, makes the instrument far more durable. Delrin one-piece valve guides Delrin one-piece valve guides are durable and quieter than metal valve guides. First valve slide thumbhook Assists in intonation. Available features The YTR-2335 trumpet is available with monel pistons (YTR-2335M) and a silver-plated finish (YTR-2335S).

Power and finesse. The "Concept TT" is an artistic offer that supplements the "Chorus" models, enriching the Selmer Paris B-flat trumpet line. A design based on the "TT" ("Twin Tube", double tube mouthpipe) technology gives it exceptional acoustic qualities: a direct, centred sound, which is very open harmonically, excellent response and a wide dynamic range. All these elements contribute to remarkable flexibility and make it suitable for musicians playing in orchestras and larger or smaller groups (soloist or section). The quality of these functional elements (slide adjustment, valve functioning, grip) and the care taken in making the "Concept TT" result in a top-level trumpet.

Yamaha 8310Z

The YTR-4335G intermediate trumpet has been designed by the same team that produces Yamaha's professional models and shares many of the same qualities, like a rich full tone with accurate intonation, and the ability to either blend with the ensemble or project a solo.
It features Monel pistons for quick and reliable valve action, a gold-brass bell for warm rich tone. The entire inner bore taper-from mouthpiece receiver to the bell-has been scientifically designed for beautiful tone color, comfortable response, and as much sound as you want.
Complete with wood shell case, oil, care instructions and polish cloth. Excellent intonation and an attractive price combine to make the Yamaha YTR-4335GS one of the most popular intermediate trumpets available.

Yamaha’s Z trumpets were designed in collaboration with jazz legend Bobby Shew. Bobby plays a wide variety of musical styles and dreamed of a single trumpet which would be equally suited for screaming lead, mellow jazz, ballads, ‘legit’ studio gigs, etc. It took many years of working with Bobby before we finally achieved our goal, but it was worth it.

Yamaha 9335 NYS/CHS

Monel pistons are resistant to corrosion and are an ideal choice for professional trumpet pistons which must retain precise fit and smooth action over many years. Yamaha employs special computer-controlled annealing equipment to ensure that the end result of this heating and cooling process is a consistently superior sound. Hand-lapping pistons and slides ensures an absolutely perfect fit and seal between the pistons and casing or slide parts. Such a perfect fit helps to achieve smooth air flow and smooth action and improve the response and intonation of the instrument. New mouthpiece receiver length enhances the responsiveness of the instrument. New valve stems, buttons, and caps add to the feel of the horn as well as give the horn a sharper overall look. A one-piece bell has an axial (lengthwise) seam, making it a continuous extension of the instrument's material. This results in pure, uniform resonance and superior tone. A hammered yellow brass bell produces a perfectly-balanced tone with quick response and extra presence due to advanced manufacturing. Perfectly rounded tubing results in less turbulence and a smoother air flow, thus allowing for an excellent scale and reduced resistance.

Developed with Cleveland Orchestra associate - principal trumpet Robert Sullivan, the YTR-9335NYS is designed for high level orchestral and jazz use. Players such as Nicholas Payton, Sean Jones and Marvin Stamm will attest to the versatility of what is certain to be a popular instrument among a number of professional players.

The YTR-9335CHS Artist Model Bb Trumpet Developed with Chicago Symphony Orchestra associate-principal trumpet John Hagstrom, the YTR-9335CHS is designed for high level orchestral and jazz use. This instrument is designed to be a perfect partner to the already popular YTR-9445CHS C-Trumpet

Piccolo Trumpets

Schilke 5-4 Piccolo Trumpet

One of the Schilke company's most popular horns. It remains the benchmark for all piccolo trumpets and its introduction in 1971 revolutionized piccolo trumpet playing. Most manufacturers have consciously copied the P5-4 in designing their most recent piccolos. It has four valves and a medium bore (0.450 inch) that is larger than the small bore (around 0.415) piccolos available in the French tradition which previously dominated the market. It has a scale and playability far better than than the smaller instruments. It also has expanded valve bows and large bore piston holes for a more open feel.

The Stomvi Elite 5710 Piccolo Trumpet is a perfect choice for an exceptional tone and excellent projection. With a cornet mouthpiece receiver, gold trim and a 3rd valve finger ring, the Elite 5710 piccolo trumpet offers a fantastic value with quality comparable to a Schilke piccolo trumpet. The Stomvi 5710 is available in silver finish with gold trim.

The starting point for the YTR-9445NYS development process was to clearly outline the design and performance objectives of the instrument. Both the development artist Robert Sullivan and Yamaha custom shop manager Bob Malone felt that this instrument would need to have a sound based on the best vintage instruments currently in use by players in top American orchestras. In addition the performance characteristics specifically would need to be compatible with the New York Philharmonic sound as well as The Cleveland Orchestra. Since the project originated while Sullivan was a member of the New York Philharmonic, and his subsequent move to the Cleveland Orchestra, this blend with both orchestral brass sections was extremely important.
